Mark Legg started throwing boomerangs in 1983, at the age of 10. In April, the same year, he treated himself to a boomerang at the local art festival in Delaware, Ohio. After a few trials and errors, the first return flight was a magic moment... Mark has not stopped throwing since!

Thus, from the beginning, Mark was surrounded by the best world throwers (to those who do not know him, Chet is 12 times a national champion and 3 times a world champion and Gregg is twice a national champion and indoor world champion).

Chet often organized competitions and classes for local children to learn how to make boomerangs. Mark attended each event and soon, he started making and throwing his own boomerangs and, at the age of 13, he began to travel to take part in competitions with Chet and Gregg Snouffer.

After completing his studies, Mark left the world of boomerang for a few years and eventually returned to it permanently. From 1991 to 1996, this sport  changed dramatically . Before 1991, competition boomerangs were mainly v-shaped and made of wood. From 1996 onwards, three-blade boomerangs appeared and performance improved considerably. Throwers used models made of bakelite, plastic, fibreglass or carbon fibres.

As years went by, Mark gathered information and greatly improved his knowledge of these new materials. He now masters the best techniques of the manufacturing process both for wooden and composite boomerangs. Since then, Mark gained a reputation as an art craftsman. He is now a member of the American boomerang team, 8th in world ranking, and the champion of the America's Cup, won in Ito, Brazil in 2005.

Mark created Leggacy Boomerang, which sells leisure boomerangs and, what is very rare, a range of high-performance competition boomerangs approved by the best world throwers.

Dahlia 60  is a real distance  boomerang As its name suggests, Dahlia 60 has a  noticeable range of about 60 meters This is a less sharp but wider throw. If you throw it well, your boomerang will go very far before gradually rising up and then get back to you. An exceptional path and a phenomenal sensation !
